SUMMARY:
This position involves performing all electrical functions, including troubleshooting, repair, and providing technical support throughout all phases of operation. It requires proficiency in multiple areas, such as electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include ensuring personal and food-related safety, maintaining food safety, quality, and compliance with legal standards.
The role includes overseeing and managing electrical projects, adhering to NEC Standards, and maintaining Tyson Standards. A background in instrumentation and skills in electronic motor drive technologies are essential. Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of Team Members and government officials, along with high-level critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:Minimum of 4 years Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Controls experience required.
Certification:A valid electrician's license as required by state or local regulations is required.
Education:Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Training beyond high school including either an associate degree in electronic technology or a closely related technical field preferred. Alternatively, a combination of education and experience which may include skilled trade programs, military training, or other applicable training.
Computer Skills:Competent in Windows-based software such as Outlook, Excel, and Word. Strong skills in document organization, using document templates, and creating simple queries. Must be proficient or become proficient in SAP Plant Maintenance.
Preferred Skills: Basic microcomputer skills necessary to understand the operation and interfacing characteristics of microprocessors.
Travel:Minimum of 1-5 trips per year outside of the assigned location.
