Job Details:

As a part of Corporate Accounting, this position supports various aspects of the preparation of the global consolidated financial statements and related information for the company. Consolidations tasks for this role include, but are not limited to, preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, global consolidated financial statements and other financial schedules. In addition, this position will also drive process improvement, ensure process documentation and controls compliance within group, and work on cross-functional projects.

This position works with internal and external auditors, domestic and international business units and our various corporate functions such as tax, payroll, external financial reporting and benefits accounting, technical accounting, controls and enablement finance. A successful candidate will need to have the ability to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to problems and issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Incoming junior, senior or MBA at least one year of school remaining. Finance or Accounting degrees required.

Please Note: This role is a year-round opportunity that requires the selected candidate to work 15 - 20 hours per week during the school year, and as many as 40 hours per week during the summer. This role also requires the selected candidate to work in office at Tyson Foods' Springdale, AR World Headquarters.
