Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is looking for an Accounts Payable Technician to join our business office. Reporting directly to the Director of Purchasing - Contracts and Accounts Payable, the Accounts Payable Technician processes all invoices and travel reimbursement requests for payment and generates expense checks, and prepares the monthly sales tax report. The Accounts Payable Technician will also research, track and reconcile discrepancies while making account adjustments.
This position is located on our North campus in Salisbury, NC.

• Associate degree
• Four (4) years experience in an accounting support function; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

• Receives, processes, and prepares invoices and/or statements for payment via document imaging software for electronic approval to pay

• Enters a variety of financial information into spreadsheets and/or databases; records and posts payments.
