SUMMARY

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking one (1) mid-level acquisition analyst to support the Integrated Services, Acquisition and Contract Resources Program Management Office (ACR PMO) in Washington DC. The Contractor shall be a qualified mid-level acquisition and project management professional skills to support Federal acquisition tasks. They must be proficient in the practices and possess requisite skills and experience to meet acquisition and data management requirements and assigned tasks in the Statement of Work.

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Experience in developing or using software tools to collect, track, analyze, and report contract data, requirements, deliverables, or business operations data.

Proficient with acquisition tools to include but not limited to: Federal Supply Schedules (FSS), System for Award Management (SAM), GSA e-Library, GSA Advantage, GSA eBuy, and Small Business Administration (SBA) Dynamic Business Search.

Experience with SAP is preferred but not required.

Be proficient in Microsoft Office 2000 or later with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, and other applicable database and office automation products, to include Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.

Experience with Power BI is preferred but not required.

Has the ability to work onsite at the Government's facility in Washington DC as required (no more than two days a week) and work remotely.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develops acquisition, contracting, and business requirements; develop acquisition and data strategies; draft cost estimates; prepare, analyze, and track acquisition documents including the Statement of Work, Statement of Objectives, Market Research, Independent Government Cost Estimate, Source Selection Documents, Request for Proposal, Request for Information, Acquisition Plans, Source Selection Documents, Evaluation Criteria, and additional pre-award and post-award contract documents; and prepare point papers and PowerPoint briefings.

Effectively communicate with senior leadership both orally (in common English narration) and in writing.

Has the ability to support multiple projects and work under pressure with tight deadlines in a teamwork environment.

Has the ability to obtain an active adjudicated CBP Background Investigation.

Has the ability to work onsite at the Government's facility in Washington DC as required (no more than two days a week) and work remotely.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in business, management, acquisition, procurement, contracting or a related field, and a minimum of at least five (5) years of experience as a mid-level acquisition professional, supporting major Federal of DoD acquisition efforts including planning, and executing acquisition, contracting and business projects.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $108K to $150K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
