Job Salary: $85,000-$90,000

Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Administrative Manager and join our team of qualified, diverse professionals. As an Administrative Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our organization by overseeing and coordinating our administration systems and general workflows.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage daily operations effectively. You will be responsible for supervising administrative staff, developing and implementing procedures to improve workflow efficiency, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Your role will also involve budget management, procurement of office supplies, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Success in this position requires excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive approach to managing multiple tasks and projects. You will work closely with various departments to ensure all administrative functions support the company's overall goals.

Compensation Minimum: $85,000

Compensation Maximum: $90,000

Job Requirements:

Skills / Experience Required

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • 1+ years of experience managing administrative functions supporting a DoD program of similar size and scope
  • 2+ years of hands-on professional experience as an Administrator for programs/projects of similar size and scope
  • Experience with delivering complete as-built documentation packages for installed systems, including the following drawings:
  • Elevation Diagrams (040)
  • Simplified Block Diagrams (060)
  • Cable Block Diagrams (070)
Education / Certifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in administration preferred

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
