The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of echocardiography and either cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, or nuclear cardiology. Expertise in one or two modalities is preferred. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in ABNM - Cardiovascular Diseases, NBE, CBNC, CBCCT or CBCMR as applicable.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching fellows, residents, sonographers and technologist.
Clinical responsibilities may include supervising and interpreting echocardiograms (TTEs, TEEs, stress echocardiograms) as well as cardiac CT, MRI, and/or nuclear cardiology procedures based on training and interest.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include a dedicated field of research. Expertise in artificial intelligence applied to imaging will be given high priority, however, other areas of research in advanced cardiovascular imaging (molecular imaging, cardiac MRI research etc.) will be considered.
