In order to ensure your application is complete, you must complete the following:Anataomy Lab Technician who supervise all laboratories within the Division of Anatomy (gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, histology, etc.); Maintains an up-to-date inventory of all lab equipment and teaching resources; Coordinate the set-up of labs with faculty, undergraduate and graduate teaching assistants; Assists faculty members in the training of graduate students for laboratory teaching; Assists in the preparation of teaching aids such as laboratory manuals, specimens, slides, etc.; Arranges for and supervise the proper disposal of chemicals and biological hazards; Coordinates the cleaning of labs with the housekeeping manager; Directs clean up or assist in the cleaning of technical equipment; Coordinates ordering and receiving of supplies and equipment for all teaching labs; Supervises access to all lab facilities; Implements and educates students on the best health and safety practices along with the best ethical practices on the handling of human material; Maintains an up to date list of all prosections within the division; Helps prepare prosections for teaching purposes; Coordinates all lab calendars and the scheduling of teaching sessions; Provides technical support for all anatomical services and serve as primary point of contact.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Sciences or Biological Science or an equivalent combination of education and experienc required. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
