APG Mechanic

Greenville, SC

Contract Position

This role is supporting the space systems division of one of our longest partners in our 28 years of staffing in Aerospace and Defense. This program builds satellites and spacecraft that do amazing things in space for government and commercial customers. You will be working with a team whose satellites give earlier warning of severe weather, connect troops on the battlefield, and deliver GPS directions to a billion people worldwide. Responsibilities:

• Summary: Perform mechanical duties related to diagnosing malfunctions, maintenance, and repair of various aircraft systems, following technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations.
• Specialize in F-16 production flightline mechanics, including system testing, troubleshooting, and launch/recovery operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 2-4 years of flightline maintenance experience, preferably on F-16s or similar fighter aircraft.
  • Expertise in heavy flightline work, including roles as Crew Chief, Plane Captain, or Heavy Maintenance.
