Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job:The Department of Forensic Science is conducting a search for a forensic science faculty position within its FEPAC-accredited MS program and Ph.D. program.
Applicants with experience in forensic toxicology, controlled substances/drug chemistry, forensic anthropology, forensic biology, forensic analytical chemistry, or instrumental analysis experience will be considered
Candidates for this tenure-track faculty position should have a Doctoral degree in a relevant scientific field and relevant research/teaching experience in forensic science or a closely related discipline.
Experience Required for the Position:Must be able to develop and teach graduate-level courses in forensic science, pursue a sustained research agenda, supervise graduate student research and actively participate in the continuous development of forensic science programming at SHSU. Candidates are expected to be dedicated teachers, productive researchers, and professionals prepared to become actively engaged in a intellectual and social environment to meet the needs of students.
