Assistant Production Supervisor (2nd shift)

Job Description

In general, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient production of food product in our operations area. This role includes a variety of tasks including supervising, monitoring, and training employees in Production and Fulfillment during peak season. This position specifically involves overseeing and assisting in the training and supervision of 40 temporary employees performing various production processes.

You'll also be responsible for:
•Training and monitoring production personnel in various areas, including quality assurance standards, placement and identification of products, label placement, code date placement, etc.
•Assist in any given direction as needed to ensure production area is implementing the correct Methods.
•Able to review current analysis to ensure it matches the correct method, communicate with the Operation Standards Analyst to correct any issues at the production line.
•Setting up new packs by placing products in appropriate areas on the production lines according to pre-established production standards and verifies SC numbers of the gift packs

Qualifications

You'll also need:
• Machine Operating experience
• Exceptional organizational skills
• The ability to effectively make independent decisions
• Supervisory or leadership experience
• Mainframe and Datex experience is preferred
