The Department of Economics at Tulane University invites applications for one full-time tenure-track position, most likely at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2025. Applicants should have primary research and teaching interests in econometric and statistical methods, mainly in microeconometrics. Preference will be given to applicants who also have applied interests in the department's existing strengths: development, inequality, and poverty; the economics of education; health and labor economics; and public economics.
The position is a 9-month tenure-track, academic-year appointment to begin July 1, 2025.
Ph.D. in economics of equivalent at the time employment begins. Successful candidates are expected to have demonstrated potential for excellence in research and have a dedicated interest in high quality teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
