One of the longest standing and most respected civil general contractors in the New York City Area is looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their growing team. This company works on some of the biggest projects in New York and offers a very competitive salary and benefits. Responsibilities:

- Assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling and managing all aspects of the project

- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment

- Manage and maintain project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting costs

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

- Assist with preparing and submitting project reports and documentation

- Communicate with clients, stakeholders and team members to ensure project goals are met

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and techniques

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

- Proficiency in project management software and tools
