Position Title: Azure ML Ops Architect
Location: San Francisco, CA 94107-Onsite
Anticipated Start Date: February

Expected Duration: 2+ months Contract (with possibility of extension or conversion)
Job Type: Contract, 40 HRS WEEKLY, Onsite
Pay Range: $80/hr. - $85.71/hr.

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Client is building a new Azure ML Ops platform to host their recommendation models. Looking for a seasoned Azure ML Ops architect to support

Primary: Azure ML Ops expertise i.e., how to build ML Workflows, ML Serving Platform to host different kinds of models, build ML deployment pipelines in Azure, Expertise in ML Model Experimentation) In addition to that, if resources have expertise in building ML models, that will be a good add-on skill.
High-performance model serving
ML Ops engineering and architecture experience

Nice-to-have skills:
Experience with Data bricks

GCP experience
A solid understanding of Cosmos DB (especially Dog DB/Star dog schema), vector search, embeddings, serverless compute, Kubernetes (AKS)
Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform is essential, with app development and infrastructure as the primary focus and data engineering as a secondary skill.
They should excel in designing and optimizing solutions involving low-latency services, API gateways, and event hubs, with a strong focus on performance tuning and load management
