Job Description
A Brake Press Operator is responsible for the following duties:
- Machine Setup and Operation: Setting up and operating the brake press machine according to specifications, including adjusting machine settings and selecting appropriate tools and dies.
- Material Handling: Loading and unloading materials onto the brake press machine, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement for accurate bending and shaping.
- Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for accuracy and quality, using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Performing routine maintenance on the brake press machine, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during operation to minimize downtime.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
