The Business Development Executive - Reverse Mortgage Third Party Originations will serve as in field representation for the firm and will be responsible for generating new relationships with Correspondent Lenders and Mortgage Brokers who are currently originating reverse mortgage products or are interested in doing so. This role will also manage a small portfolio of existing high value Wholesale and Non Delegated reverse mortgage originators. Reporting to the Vice President of Correspondent Sales, this growth oriented position will be joining an entrepreneurial team who is building a best in class enterprise sales franchise that strives each day to grow PHH Mortgage and the culture of the team they are a part of. Job Functions and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Identify high opportunity forward and reverse prospects and convert them into producing clients, positioning PHH as their partner of choice.
- Execute strategic sales strategies to understand clients needs, competitor offerings and deliver the enterprise product set as a solution to grow wallet share by client.
- Develop and execute annual business plan in conjunction with VP, Reverse Mortgage TPO Originations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the reverse mortgage program with internal forward mortgage Correspondent Lending team to build product knowledge, support/drive sales engagement and convert clients from lead to active client
- At least 50% external travel to represent the firm at industry tradeshows and conferences at local, state, regional and national levels.
- Partners with teammates in Operations, Risk, and other areas to ensure that risk, efficiency, and recourse objectives are addressed and resolved
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory to maximize territory potential and visibility.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
- Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of Client Satisfaction.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:
- Degree from a four year accredited university preferred
- Existing expertise with Reverse Mortgage Originations preferred
- Strong sales strategy acumen with ability to develop and execute against business development and sales plans
- Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in the mortgage industry or related financial services with 7+ years of outside sales experience
- Proven business development success prospecting and building new markets and client bases
- Proven ability to develop positive influential working relationships with clients and teammates across the company
- Ability to develop positive influential working relationships with clients and teammates across the company
- Willingness to travel and work in a national team of professionals
- Ability to build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the client, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales objectives
- Must be able to identify and assess changes in client's business strategy, market penetration and financial stability to recognize business opportunities and potential risk issues
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Training / Licensing Requirements: - Must pass the Company's Background Screening process prior to beginning employment. Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements, if applicable.

The salary range for this position is expected to be $65,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for commission based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.
