CCI Facility Support Services (CCI-FSS) is seeking a CADD Technician to join our team!CCI-FSS is an 8(a) small, disadvantaged business providing diverse offerings, primarily specializing in construction and facility support services. CCI-FSS has the resources to provide specialty trades self-performance in the execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure construction, repair, and upgrade.

Responsibilities

  • Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on project specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand design requirements and project objectives.
  • Review and analyze design drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports to support design processes.
  • Maintain organized digital files and archives of all CAD drawings and related documentation.
  • Assist in project coordination and management by providing timely updates on design progress.
  • Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure precision and consistency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements related to CAD technology.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in CAD technology, drafting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
  • Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Working Environment

Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
