Cash Operations Specialist

We are seeking a motivated individual to support operations, primarily focusing on accounts receivable functions. This position is integral to a dynamic finance team and will involve a variety of tasks related to cash management. The Cash Operations Specialist will act as a point of contact for resolving cash-related discrepancies and inquiries, both internally and externally. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone eager to advance their career in a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and record incoming cash transactions.
• Prepare and manage daily collections, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with customers and team members to address any discrepancies and inquiries.
• Review current accounts receivable processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with various internal teams within the finance department.
• Assist with financial audits as needed.
• Maintain reconciliation of related accounts and ensure timely transactions.
• Establish best practices for accounts receivable processes and compliance.
• Take on additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing or public company setting.
• Experience with large ERP systems is required; SAP experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
