Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or Director, the Clinic Operations Coordinator assists the Manager/Director in monitoring and evaluating the daily operations and workflow in the practice site. Responsibilities include efficient coordination of patient flow, maintaining provider clinic schedules in system, monitoring environmental conditions, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory. Coordinates patient care workflow to help facilitate a positive patient care experience and maximize provider productivity. Coordinates medical record needs, specialized medical equipment needs, and ancillary testing needs. Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and upholds Customer Service and Patient and Family-Centered Care standards.

Requirements:

Associate degree in healthcare or related field. Additional years of related work experience and/or specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirement.

Three years or more healthcare clinic operations, experience utilizing an electronic medical record. Experience with computers. Strong organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
