Job Description Summary
A full-time Clinical Research Coordinator position is available in the Traumatic Brain Injury Clinical Research Division in the Department of Neurology. The CRC will work closely with the Program Manager and acts as research support across several projects in our diverse portfolio of federal- and industry-sponsored clinical research trials focused on improving diagnosis and prognosis following traumatic injuries to the brain. With direction and support from Principal Investigators and the PM, the CRC will help oversee regulatory compliance to human subject research, recruitment of study participants, management of scheduling and data collection for participants enrolled, and other tasks related to clinical trials carried out in the program.

This is not a supervisory position. Position contingent upon funding. This post includes 2 CRC-A positions. The key components of these positions are listed below:

CRC-A (Clinical Focus): research project initiation; research project management, including direct research patient interaction and data collection; data entry; study close-out; regular contributions to organizational and team development.

CRC-A (Data Focus): research project initiation; research project management; data entry and quality review; study close-out; regular contributions to organizational and team development.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in biology or related health field with 1-2 years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Previous experience working in brain injury research is desired. Experience with computer programs including Microsoft Office suite, statistical programs, and REDCap is also preferred. Organizational skills and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team are essential for this position. Individual must be comfortable communicating with diverse audiences.

$37,220.00 - $60,000.00 Annual Rate
Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
