Location: Holy Cross Health clinic a short driving distance from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD
Description:
- 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Reporting to the Director of OB/GYN Clinic
- The C.N.A will work closely with the OB/GYN Clinic Nursing staff to provide critical prenatal and follow-up care to uninsured and financially limited women.
Responsibilities:- Record vital signs, take medical histories, and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
- Clean and prep examination rooms before and after patient visits.
- Perform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling phone calls.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you will need:
- Bilingual: Spanish is required
- Certification as a nursing assistant by the Maryland Board of Nursing
- High school diploma or GED
- AHA BLS certification
- Current knowledge of nursing skills within their scope of practice.
- Computer and audiovisual skills using various applications and technologies: Internet, email, word processing, wireless phone, pager.
- Ability to obtain and retrieve data.
- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize, ability to work well with individuals and groups.
