The Commercial Operations Intern will work closely with the commercial operations team to support various aspects of business operations. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in sales support, data analysis, and process improvement within a dynamic commercial environment.

This position is part of the Sales organization located onsite in Deer Park, IL. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Assist in analyzing sales data and generating reports to support decision-making processes. Aid in the development and maintenance of sales tools and resources, including CRM systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on sales processes and procedures.
• Support the creation and execution of sales strategies and campaigns.
• Assist in monitoring and optimizing sales performance metrics.
• Participate in market research activities to identify trends and opportunities.
• Help streamline and improve existing sales processes and workflows.
• Provide general administrative support to the commercial operations team as needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and visualize data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to the team's success.
• Previous internship or work experience in sales, operations, or related field is a plus.

The hourly range for this role is $25.00. This is the rate that we in good faith believe is the rate of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
