This position is part of the DBS Department located in Fargo, ND and will be on-site. You will be a part of the Supply Chain team and report to the Sr. Director of Global Supply Chain responsible for improving organizational performance by driving continuous improvement in Supply Chain by using Danaher Business Systems (DBS) and working with DBS Leaders (DBSL's) to identify improvement opportunities and implement countermeasure to drive reduction in waste, cost and on time delivery. Partner with business leaders to provide guidance, support, and consolidate DBS activities across sites and focus on best practice sharing, DBS knowledge management and drive lean manufacturing processes.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in QDCI (Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation) that is tied to Policy Deployment (PD) and Daily Management (DM) by leveraging DBS tools and the change management process.
  • Audit existing processes and provide input and recommendations for the identification and selection of improvement projects (feeding the Kaizen and PSP funnel)
  • Work with site DBSLs and business leaders to build and lead a funnel of Kaizens and PSPs aligned to the most critical improvement areas.
  • Provide mentorship and facilitation to functional leaders or site DBSLs to ensure successful scoping and execution of improvement projects. Drive 80%+ sustainment on Kaizens and PSPs.
  • Work with the DBSO (Danaher Business System Office) to schedule events, align on new tools to advance DBS across Operations and collaborate with other DBS leaders to ensure alignment of cross-functional processes involving Operations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience including using continuous improvement/lean tools
  • Ability to build cross functional relationships and lead through influence to achieve drive DBS, and functional targets
  • Strong background in DBS fundamentals with proven track record to drive change and deliver results
  • Excellent communication skills to work with individuals across all levels of the organization and the ability to train others
  • Hands-on experience leading deployment of DBS tools: VSM, SW, TPI, 5S, PSP, VM/DM, VPM, or DSS preferred.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Certified Practitioner (CP) in one or more Lean tools preferred
  • Knowledge/experience of supply chain fundamentals, including DMS
