This position provides overall leadership and management for the Marinette rolled converting lines. This asset leader role will drive results through lean principles with accountabilities in safety, delivery, quality and cost. The incumbent reports to the Product System Leader. They will have a broad operations responsibilities for technically complex converting processes, used for producing a range of rolled and folded consumer packaged goods. The incumbent provides leadership for teams which typically include hourly and salaried members with cross-function representation.

In this role, you will:

  • Safety, quality, delivery, and cost of the converting assets supported
  • Mentor, coach, and manage the roughly 65 hourly team members that report to this role
  • Manage 6 assets (2 folded/3 rolled) which includes proper preventative maintenance scheduling / optimization
  • Organize crew staffing to support business objectives
  • Collaborative support in Product System and Site management to achieve full end to end performance
  • Create a positive work environment that drive results
  • Participates in the development of others within the area of the incumbent's expertise

In one of our manufacturing roles, you'll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Requires knowledge and ability typically associated with a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Working knowledge of KC Safety requirements and EHS systems and standards.
  • Operations Experience
  • Working knowledge of the KC quality requirements for converting assets
  • Broad knowledge and significant experience in operations/maintenance and project management.
  • Ability to provide coaching for performance and career development to both the Hourly and teams
  • Ability to provide work direction and set priorities for the support team
  • Ability to manage vendor/supplier relationships in a positive cost effective manner.
  • Led the development of Asset objectives and goals and action plans to achieve them.
  • The ability to lead organizational change, build relationships and make good use of available resources.
  • Lean experience with Strategy Deployment, 4-step problem solving, visual management, TPM and 5 S.
  • Able to confront problems and handle conflict
  • Able problem solve and set priorities and generate new ideas and improved ways of working while maintaining effective control.
  • Able to demonstrate "World Class Leadership Practices" as well as the KC One Behaviors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of operations experience with at least 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Have experience in more than one facility, sector and function and will have developed a working knowledge of sector staff activities
  • Worked in High Performance Work System
  • Experience with working in Union environment
  • Full working knowledge of "Culture of Accountability"
  • Full working knowledge of ISO.
  • Have understanding of "Full Potential Thinking" and Gap Closure activities
    Demonstrated continuing self-development (i.e., progress toward an advanced degree or certificate).
