Job Summary
The Opportunity: Critical Care Tech (CCT) -Blake 12 ICU
Why This Role Is Important?
Blake 12 ICU is an 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal transplant, and trauma intensive care unit. Under the direction of a registered nurse (RN), the Critical Care Technician (CCT) assists the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. CCT provides assistance with activities of daily living needs of patients, assisting nurses in helping to stabilize patients, drawing blood, frequent glucose monitoring, and obtaining EKGs, to name a few.
Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of inpatient experience within an acute care setting. - Required: Mu
- have recent experience, and/or training, in clinical patient care.
- Preferred: Licensed, certified or enrolled student in a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT accredited program, at the time of hire, OR
- Candidate enrolled in a Nursing, Pre-Med, PA undergraduate program, with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed, at time of hire.

7am/7pm
