Job Description:
Hours: 11:30AM - 8PM with rotating weekends and holidays off*** NEW WAGES!** $16.16/hr. **PLUS** $3 differential for every hour worked = $19.16/hr while working **$200 monthly bonus for commutes of 30 miles or more!** This full-time position includes medical, dental and vision benefits for you and your family. Job duties:
Clean member's rooms, restrooms and facility offices to include walls, windows, and ceilings. Remove laundry from living areas; may assist with delivery of clean linen and personals to resident's rooms. Empty trash containers, carpet care including vacuuming, spot removal & shampooing and perform other floor cleaning duties; mop, buff and wax when necessary.

General cleaning of floors, various areas and surface types. Cleaning and maintenance of hallways, solariums, and public areas. Work safely to ensure your safety and the safety of others. Cleans and disinfects bathroom fixtures, furniture and floors using disinfectants or other chemicals. Washes walls, windows and ceilings using ladders, scaffolding or other equipment. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, strips, refinishes, waxes and polishes floor surfaces using mops, brooms, vacuums, industrial equipment, and polishers. Empties trash containers, replaces liners, and removes trash from buildings.
Cleans public areas to ensure high standards of sanitation and safety are maintained. Removes and washes/launders soiled rags, mop heads and cleaning items as needed.
Inventories, stocks, and monitors supplies. Refills and replaces items in receptacles as needed.

Requirements/ Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: No specific education, training, or experience is required for entry to this class.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Knowledge of: Custodial/Housekeeping duties; basic cleaning equipment; industrial equipment.

Ability to: Communicate effectively; safely mix cleaning solutions to proper proportions using concentrated cleaning agents for a variety of surfaces; work independently or as a team; move around to work safely, lift and move lightweight objects; use common cleaning tools, lightweight vacuum cleaners and industrial equipment; maintain care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.; work among hostile, emotionally upset, disabled and geriatric members; read label directions, precautions and hazards.
