Database and Middleware Engineer (Oracle Cloud)

Location: Austin, MN (Global Headquarters)

Responsibilities:

• Manage Oracle databases, including backups, restores, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot database issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide third-level support during non-production hours.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in Oracle Database administration.
• Proficiency in SQL (DDL and DML).
• Familiarity with Oracle database components and configuration files.
• Knowledge of SQLNet and configuration files.
• Proficiency in Linux/AIX or another UNIX Operating System.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proven project definition and management capabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Fluent in written and verbal communication.

Preferred:

• Experience with WebLogic.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud (OCI) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Exposure to Reports and Discover.
