As the Director of Digital Strategy for eCommerce, you'll lead a team in implementing digital brand and membership strategies. You'll be responsible for developing comprehensive strategies that support membership acquisition and renewal targets. You'll need to foster a deep collaborative culture, building partnerships with cross-functional teams to develop strategies to enhance performance. You will report to the Group Director, Digital Member Experience & Engagement (eCommerce) and you will be based in Bentonville, Arkansas.
You'll make an impact by:
- Driving the digital brand strategy for Sam's Club, enhancing our digital brand identity and value through an understanding of the business, including consumer trends & behaviors, competitive landscape, product roadmaps, and omni marketing campaigns.
- Leading digital membership acquisition by building best-in-class onboarding journey flows. You'll collaborate closely with membership and media teams to build targeted, personalized experiences.
- Leading digital membership benefit awareness, loyalty, and renewal through collaboration with membership, marketing & customer retention teams
- Leveraging meaningful consumer insights into digital brand strategies that engage existing members and attract prospective members to the brand and shopping experience.
- Developing, with user research and analytics data, a deep understanding how our members engage with us digitally, what matters to them, and solving for pain points.
- Leading digital brand governance and guidelines in partnership with UX and Creative teams.
- Leading the implementation of new processes and/or technical to help scale efficiency and best-in-class workflows and timelines, embedding operational excellence into everything you do.
- Building a culture of excellence, developing talent, and putting members at the heart of solutions.
- Building talent, leading teams, and influencing with cross functional partners to meet business targets.
- Anticipating next generation customer needs and rising market competition, driving innovation in business strategies and product development.
You'll sweep us off our feet if...
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or ecommerce
- You are a strategic thinker who can collaborate across departments to develop holistic marketing initiatives
- You can traverse a wide range of programs with ease and fluidity, while providing guidance and mentorship across cross functional teams.
- You possess strong presentation and communication skills and can "paint the story" of where we're going and how to get there.
- You have an entrepreneurial, creative, and challenger mindset with a passion for building best-in-class member experiences.
- You have at least 4+ years of direct supervisory experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field and 5 years' experience in public relations, communications or related field OR 7 years' experience in public relations, communications or related field.
2 years' supervisory experience.
