Overview

This is a seasonal Position from April thru October 2025. On island basic housing and meals provided at $19/day.

Are you passionate about creating unforgettable experiences and providing exceptional service? Join our team as the Director of Guest Experience at Grand Hotel and lead our dynamic recreational program, music program & admissions department. As the Director of Guest Experience you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage guests of all ages by overseeing a wide range of activities and ensuring their leisure time is filled with excitement and enjoyment. With your high energy, enthusiasm, and innovative approach, you will lead a team of talented professionals in delivering outstanding experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a diverse and engaging recreational program for guests
• Lead and motivate a team of recreation and admissions staff, fostering a positive work environment
• Coordinate and supervise recreational activities, events, and facilities
• Interact with guests, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate joint activities and promotions
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and supplies
• Monitor guest satisfaction and feedback, making necessary improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred
• Proven experience in a leadership role in the hospitality or recreation industry
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of recreational programs and trends
• Budget management and financial acumen
• Ability to lead and inspire a team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
