As the Director of Solutions Architecture, you will lead the architectural design and implementation of cutting-edge, scalable solutions with a focus on Azure DevOps, GitLab, C#, and the strategic integration of AI technologies, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design advanced AI-driven systems that leverage LLMs for automation, decision-making, and business insights. Your deep understanding of the logistics industry will ensure that technology solutions are tailored to meet the unique challenges of logistics operations. Your knowledge of TOGAF will guide the creation and management of architecture frameworks, ensuring effective governance and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Solutions Architecture: Develop and implement advanced solution architectures, including AI-driven systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices within the logistics sector.
  
• AI and LLM Integration: Explore, design, and implement AI-driven solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI technologies to automate processes, improve decision-making, and generate actionable business insights.
  
• Azure DevOps & GitLab Expertise: Lead the design and maintenance of DevOps pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitLab, optimizing development workflows, CI/CD processes, and version control.
  
• C# and Application Development: Provide technical leadership for solutions built using C#, ensuring they meet the highest standards of scalability, performance, and security.
  
• TOGAF Implementation: Apply TOGAF principles to develop and enforce architecture frameworks, ensuring governance and standardization across enterprise solutions.
  
• Logistics Business Insight: Utilize your extensive knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes to ensure that architectural solutions are tailored to address operational challenges and enhance efficiency.
  
• Architectural Governance: Define and implement architectural policies, standards, and frameworks, ensuring alignment across the enterprise with particular attention to AI, DevOps, and cloud solutions.
  
• Cloud Architecture (Azure): Lead the development and optimization of cloud infrastructure in Azure, ensuring best practices in cloud deployments, scaling, and AI workloads.
  
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage and mentor a team of solution architects and engineers, providing guidance on AI, DevOps, and cloud technologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  
• Continuous Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI, cloud, and DevOps trends, identifying opportunities to incorporate emerging technologies into the organization's architecture.
  
• AI-Driven Automation & Optimization: Drive innovation through AI automation across logistics and supply chain processes, improving operational efficiency and reducing human error.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  
• Experience:
  
  • 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture with a focus on DevOps, AI, and cloud technologies.
    
  • 5+ years in leadership roles managing teams in architecture, DevOps, and AI projects.
    
  • Proven expertise in C# and Microsoft development environments.
    
  • Strong experience with AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), and practical applications in automation and optimization.
    
  • Deep experience with TOGAF and enterprise architecture frameworks.
    
  • Business knowledge and proven experience in the logistics industry or related sectors.
    
• Technical Skills:
  
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps and GitLab for CI/CD and code management.
    
  • Strong development background in C# and .NET.
    
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and frameworks, including LLMs, NLP (Natural Language Processing), and machine learning techniques.
    
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture, specifically Azure, including cloud-native applications and AI integration.
    
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
    
• Certifications:
  
  • TOGAF certification is preferred.
    
  • Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are preferred.
    
  • AI/ML-related certifications or courses are highly desirable.
