Position Summary:Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Enrollment Counselor. - Boca Raton, FL.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Provide a positive first impression of FAU as families enter the lobby of the Office of Admissions and support in-person customer service and recruitment efforts.
Troubleshoot and support the recruitment, onboarding, and enrollment of new students.
Counsel and advise prospective students, applicants, and family members about admissions requirements, application status, and other opportunities at Florida Atlantic University.
Partner and collaborate with staff and faculty in Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and Enrollment Management & Student Success for recruitment, onboarding, and enrollment of new students.
Communicate with students in one-on-one and small group sessions
Support all on-campus recruitment events, including Open Houses and other divisional events. Regularly communicate with potential students and leverage a variety of different communication sources and strategies.
Manage multiple simultaneous priorities while continuing to provide great service and accurate information.
Provide guidance to first-generation, prospective, and current students on policies and procedures.
