Job Description: Validate, coordinate and expedite the flow of fabricated parts within or between departments to support the production schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, validate and organize all outsourced fabricated parts before delivery to staging areas
• Act as liaison between assembly and fabrication for remake parts. This includes tracking, validating and inputting data into a remake database
• Track, locate and move critical fabricated parts to specified production areas as needed
• Monitor and control fabricated parts racks to ensure efficient usage
• Confer with supervisors/leads and other departments to determine progress on materials/parts/RFEs

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Strong communication skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Must be able to operate a fork truck (either through experience or training)
• Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Strong computer/systems skills

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing, scheduling, or production control environment preferred
• Experience or exposure to lean concepts

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Munters New Employee Orientation, ISO and Safety Awareness

HOURS OF WORK REQUIRED: Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet production demands.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting
• The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer terminal, expansive reading, etc.
