Who You'll Work With

You will have the unique opportunity mature Slalom's Public & Social Impact (P&SI) contracts team, which is focused on supporting our Local Markets in delivering impactful experiences and outcomes for Federal, State and Local Government, Education, and Non-Profit Organizations. You'll be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that will include providing strategic advisory services, tactical support, and demonstrating thought leadership. You will leverage your ability to build trust and lead through influence and expertise to build and scale the risk and contract management function across Slalom.

What You'll Do

  • Strengthen our delivery excellence approach and execution for P&SI work including:
    • Provide strategic and tactical advice to Local Market teams on all areas of the Federal procurement and contracting lifecycle, including risk mitigation and management; Identify areas to automate risk and contract management and compliance activities
    • Draft, negotiate, and/or review a range of contracts, agreements, and scopes of work, ensuring documents are consistent with business objectives and compliant with corporate and legal requirements; Collaborate with internal business teams to resolve contract administration challenges at all stages
    • Foster relationships with contracting officers to understand the client's organizational landscape and drive Slalom brand awareness including attending networking events and relationship development with the small business community
    • Educate and deliver training on a variety of risk and contract management concepts
  • Provide proactive support during the pursuit process including:
    • Facilitate/ lead risk review stage gates
    • Review RFx to identify areas of potential business and contractual risk, develop questions, assumptions, and exceptions that may influence contract strategy and/or impact post-award contract compliance
    • Spend time advising local markets on how to contract directly with public sector clients
    • Delivering training and tools to enable local markets to meet their contractual compliance obligations
  • Post-award:
    • Conduct contract review workshops with engagement teams, identifying key compliance obligations, contract requirements, and service level agreements
    • Provide post-award contract interpretation, support contract modifications, and develop and socialize tools for enable engagement teams to meet contractual obligations and requirements
    • Maintain database of critical contract details and monitor key contract dates and events
What You'll Bring
  • Deep knowledge of risk, contract, and legal principles, and ability to identify high-risk terms; ability to understand the impact of flow-down terms
  • Experience with prime and subcontracts administration and management
  • Ability to influence and lead institutional process improvements without authority
  • Knowledge of Federal contracting vehicles, e.g., GSA, NASA SEWP, and similar IDIQ, BOA contracting mechanisms etc.
  • Proficiency and experience contracting with and through industry partners including an understanding of supplier diversity programs
  • Ability to work with a matrixed team across multiple time zones
