The Fleet Driver Coordinator plays a pivotal role in collaborating with the Fleet Director to cultivate a culture of safety and professionalism while ensuring the fleet operates reliably, efficiently, and cost-effectively. This involves leveraging experience, implementing best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs), on the job training/reviews, managing certification refreshers, and maintaining appropriate documentation. The role also entails random spot checks and ride-alongs/coaching sessions with drivers.

Duties:

• Provide Sound Fleet and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) guidance and training to CDL holders within the WCC organization.
• Conduct CMV Drivers Skills Assessment.
• Conduct Hazardous Materials Training.
• Conduct Smith System Training to both CDL and non-CDL holders.
• Conduct Pilot Car Driver Assessment.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required, either on a temporary or permanent basis, in alignment with job requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years as a designated, full-time CDL Driver
• Ability to travel and spend up to a week in each of the Central, Southeast and Southwest Areas of WCC within each Month of the Year.
• Ability to drive a CMV for a minimum of 40 hours within each calendar year.
• Hold a Class A CDL
• Demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, train, and adapt quickly to new challenges.
• Willingness to travel to various sites as required.
• Exceptional multitasking skills essential for managing diverse tasks in both routine and emergency situations within a dynamic work environment.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on coaching, training, and team building in a constructive environment
