The Global Product Manager is responsible for owning their respective product line(s) with respect to life-cycle management, portfolio growth and P&L. They will be a key business partner who is action-oriented and carries out short, mid and long term vision through data-driven decision making and close cross-functional collaboration.

This position is part of the Product Management/Marketing team located in Richmond, IL and will be on-site. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop specific marketing plans and activities for specific product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.
• Develop business plans and product positioning in the marketplace. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies.
• Serve as a product and market SME to help inform the site and senior leadership on the best course of action to take for site and commercial priorities.
• Work with engineering, manufacturing and sales to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, natural sciences, business, or medical fields
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, experience in medical / Healthcare business.
• Proven track record of driving product/product line results through cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to Travel 25-30% of the time.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• MBA or related Master's degree a plus

The salary range for this role is $82,400 - $144,800 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
