Journals and other financial transactions (Concur / Ben Fin). Prepare, process and track pre and Post awards for sponsor program funds and Progress Reports (RPPR) (e-Commons/PennERA); along with preparing, processing and maintaining Sub-award/with Purchase Orders within the Research Inventory System (RIS and Ben Fin) along with incoming and outgoing Invoices. Prepare and process Just in Time, Account System Information (AIS), Close outs and new proposals for NIH, foundation, Fellowship, and other agencies using PennERA system; and tracking Notice of Awards (NIH e-Common); Attending weekly meetings with the Manager. Assist with the process and tracking of Post-docs. Prepare, track and maintain all follow-ups for financial activities until the project is completed. Other duties assigned. Provide liaison to the School of Medicine's Research Support Services (ORSS) and to the University's Office of Research Services (ORS). This position will have a dotted report line to PSOM Office of Research Support Services. Grants Manager B; Responsible for the overall financial management of the Grant portfolio and other financial matters of the Abramson Cancer Center (ACC). Primary function is to oversee day-to-day financial operations within the ACC along with Pre and Post Awards. Duties associated (but limited to): Preparing and maintaining new proposals, Just in Time (JIT) and Progress Reports (RPPR) for NIH, NSF, DOD, foundation, Fellowship, and other agencies using PennERA system, e-Commons, ASSIST and other systems; and track for accuracy Notice of Awards (NIH e-Commons and other systems) along with Account System Information (AIS). Preparing, processing and maintaining Sub-award and Other applications within the Research Inventory System (RIS), along with Purchase Orders (Ben Fin) and maintaining/reviewing charges, incoming and outgoing Invoices. Preparing, processing, and maintaining month/quarter/annual financial reports (Ben Fin/Business Objects), monthly/weekly payroll and Salary grids (PennWorks system), budget journals and financial journals, and other financial transactions (Concur / Ben Fin), and Close outs with manger and ORSS. Assist with the process and tracking of Post-docs and Patient enrollment (when needed). Prepare, track and maintain all follow-ups for financial activities until the project/award are completed and/or closed out. Other duties assigned. Provide liaison to the School of Medicine's Research Support Services (ORSS) and to the University's Office of Research Services (ORS). This position will have a dotted report line to PSOM Office of Research Support Services.

Qualifications

Grants Manger A; Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience in grants management preferably in an academic setting. Advanced understanding of research administration required; experience with federal sponsored agencies preferred. Working knowledge of CAS A21 and A-110. Strong computer skill and proficiency in Microsoft office (spreadsheet, word and others); experience in university financial (ben-financials, Business objects, Con-Cur, WorkDay, and other) and research administration accounting systems (PennERA, AIS, protocols, and RIS) preferred. Knowledge of Database software, preferred; Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills; be detailed oriented and adhere to strict internal and external deadlines. Must be flexible and able to work as a team as well as independently
