HR Coordinator

Our client is a fast-growing, full-service provider of professional 3D marketing solutions for the tradeshow industry located in Bolingbrook. They are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to help manage their dynamic HR functions. Key Responsibilities:

• Front Office: Greet visitors, manage phone communications, maintain reception and office areas, and coordinate mail services.
• Payroll & Benefits: Process weekly payroll for union and non-union employees, manage union deductions, assist with benefits administration, and reconcile payroll with benefits invoices.
• Recruiting & Onboarding: Post job openings, screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and manage onboarding paperwork and orientation.
• Compliance & Records: Maintain HR records (electronic/paper), ensure confidentiality, and conduct regular audits. Generate HR compliance reports.
• HR Projects: Contribute to HR projects to improve processes, employee engagement, and HR reporting.

You:

• 1+ years of HR experience, specifically within payroll or recruiting
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
• Experience with payroll software (Paylocity is a plus) and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
