The Human Resource Generalist will serve as an internal partner who supports/facilitates the development of culture and key capabilities for Holman's Fleet Management & Insurance business in the United States. This is a highly visible role serving as an internal partner for all employees. The HR Generalist will consult in various ways with primary responsibility for employee relations and performance management. It is an opportunity to collaborate on anything and everything employee related.
What will you do?
- Serve as a partner and consultant to leaders and employees on employee relations matters.
- Provide support to the business leaders surrounding the performance management process.
- Identify and create materials to support leaders in responding to and addressing common employee relation concerns.
- Supports the management and tracking of all employee disciplinary action.
- Assist with employee investigations.
- Analyze exit interview data and review with leaders to support an environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Work with the business leaders, HR Technology & Analytics, and Compensation teams to create and review job profiles.
- Act as point of contact for company projects and programs and maintain documentation and tracking.
- Partner with employees and management to develop and communicate various human resource policies, procedure, laws, standards, and other government regulations.
- Work with the HR Technology & Analytics team to produce reports and compile data to present on a monthly/quarterly scorecard; provide Workday support to the business leaders.
- Partner with the Leaves team and business leaders to evaluate incoming leave and accommodation requests.
- Support the administrative efforts in the immigration arena.
- Support the administrative efforts and vendor partnership for all company-sponsored relocations.
- Provides administrative support and overall coordination of tasks for employee events.
- Exemplify, and advocate for, the Holman Way in all interactions with employees.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 1 to 3 years of HR generalist experience preferred
- Professional Designation in Human Resources preferred but not required; (PHR) certification, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification
- Training in employment law, compensation, organization development, employee relations, safety and training preferred
- Effectively balance employee and company interests to manage risks and create a positive employee relations environment.
- Comfortable creating a solid customer experience with every interaction
- Must be results driven with the ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and employees
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Workday as a human resource information system.

The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
