Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
To assist with the overall operation of the Indigenous Student Center,

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assists with planning and facilitating assigned cross-cultural events
  • Assist with facilitation of student trainings, workshops, and presentation requests
  • Assist professional staff with assigned administrative tasks and projects - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements
  • Demonstrate a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Demonstrate an understanding and application of intersectionality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with creating social media content, flyers, and video content
  • Demonstrate organizational skills, problem solving, and multitasking
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.
  • Responsible and dependable
  • Positive attitude and creates a welcoming environment
  • Reports to work as scheduled and on time
  • Ability to communicate and work well with a diverse staff and student population
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
