RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Insider Threat Risk Analyst in Fremont, CA.Job Responsibilities:- Insider Threat Risk Analyst will monitor, analyze, respond to DLP alerts, and perform investigations as appropriate in accordance with an established incident response processes (detection, triage, incident analysis, remediation, and reporting)
- Enforce data loss prevention policies across the company using technical preventive controls
- Identify gaps in controls, processes, systems and recommend solutions
- Identify recurring incidents within the environment and determine the need to escalate to the appropriate technical resources, ensuring resolution of more complex issues
- Define, develop, and review performance metrics; Understand trends identified through reporting, and propose changes to the Data Protection policies, as appropriate
- As an Insider Threat Risk Analyst, you will participate in various DLP audits, control testing and other processes
- Partner with IT and Security Engineering group to analyze requirements and provide recommendations for tuning the content detection rules to improve accuracy
REQUIREMENTS:
- Familiarity with cyber threat analysis tools
- Familiarity with user and entity behavior analytics
- Familiarity with data loss prevention (DLP) security controls
- Familiarity with SIEM tools
- Must be very good at reading and analyzing varying logs
- Must know how to combine data from multiple sources to observe anomalous activity in employee behavior
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
