Position Overview:

Provide hands on experience in the Capital Markets field, ideally for Juniors or non-graduating Seniors in college. The Capital Markets intern will gain exposure to a wide variety of industries and provide excellent client service for Compeer's partners and clients.

• Work with the Capital Markets team on complex financial transactions and developing business within the syndicated and participated multi-lender loan portfolio
• Perform analysis on complex financial transactions
• Demonstrate client service that exceeds client's expectations
• Developing knowledge of relevant information resources

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Must be working towards completing a bachelor's degree in finance, economics or business administration, with at least two years completed.
• Solid organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem solving, analytical, verbal and written communication and influencing skills are required.
• Proven client service skills and effective team skills are essential.
• Knowledge of farm production methods and products, a general understanding of farm business management, and finance preferred.
• Demonstrate effective team skills.
• The understanding of and ability to use various computer, both business and financial, applications is required.

This is a paid internship; however, the intern must provide their own housing and transportation. Business related transportation and expenses will be paid by the organization. This intern will work full-time through the summer of 2025. The internship is located out of our Lakeville, MN OR Naperville, IL office locations.
