Metallus Internship Program

Internship Assignment: Full-Time - Summer 2025

• Work with the current IT security team to maintain day-to-day operations and work on special project assignments
• Assist with anti-spam and phish email triage and review
• Review and update IT security policies and documentation
• Work on email gateway support items
• Participate in End Point protection sensor updates
• When applicable, participate in vulnerability remediation actions and learn best practices from IT security professionals

Internship Qualifications

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
• Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2025 semester
• Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university
• Preferred majors: Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or related
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices preferred
• Basic familiarity with anti-virus/endpoint protection software preferred
