The IT Senior Manager - SAP will be responsible multiple elements of a large ERP Business Transformation program including a migration to SAP S/4 RISE and providing leadership to ongoing operations. The SAP Senior Manager will closely work with Global Business Process Owner, ERP Solution Integrator, Business, and Subject Matters Experts, Infrastructure teams and others to implement the S/4 project on time and on budget. The role will provide expertise in all aspects of sub processes of business process streams as well as integration points with other functional modules. The role will also be primarily responsible for keeping SAP and related applications updated to current revisions, helping to maintain a clean core practice and managing AMS activities. Additionally, the role will be involved in identifying and implementing IT solutions that help the business teams achieve its strategic initiatives post-S/4 implementation.
Responsibilities
* Utilize SAP best practices in design, configure / develop, test, and deploy an integrated ERP solution with SAP S/4 Hana at the core.
* Develop and implement processes and practices to keep the core clean
* Manage the development and implementation of end-to-end scenarios for test cycle simulations integrating with other processes and external systems.
* Execute projects associated with S/4 such as data archiving as well as implementing a consistent data archiving process.
* Plan, manage and participate in unit test, integration test, UAT and conference room pilots.
* Lead data migration activities from legacy ERP systems to new ERP system
* Post SAP S/4 implementation, provide leadership and participate in developing of IT applications and solutions to address business improvement strategies and initiatives
* Deliver solution models and architectures in line with business requirements, organization and industry standards across all the plants globally.
* Work with the project stakeholders to understand the business outcomes and recommend options that provide fit to standard solutions.
* Work and effectively communicates with a wide range of stakeholders across the group in developing a solution that meet the needs of the business.
* Provide direction and guidance ensuring adherence to design standards and the target operating model.
* Support the analysts to determine high-level functional and technical requirements, maximizing the use of standard and out-of-the-box features and capabilities
* Be accountable for the viability of the proposed solution and provide direction, advice and guidance on the appropriate approach to the solution throughout the project
* Provide SAP sub processes expertise through system demonstration and coordinated knowledge sharing sessions to project team members.
* Establish and maintain standards for the operation and administration of SAP Applications, including partnering with established managed services providers
* Work to ensure 100% availability of SAP systems working with managed services providers- both support services and technical services (hosting and basis services)
* Ensure the ongoing operation of the SAP system, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
* Work with Vendors to monitor SLAs and conduct QBRs and ensure service excellence.
* Coordinate efforts across other non-SAP applications to support IT integrations.
* Make strategic and tactical decisions on the evolution of SAP applications to implement desired business capabilities, including when and how to upgrade them, and how to maintain their reliability and security.
* Lead/manage the production environments and application operations to ensure the successful delivery of business services and to identify and support innovative solutions, programs, and enhancements for SAP platforms that are consistent with achieving organizational goals and objectives.
* Business continuity and disaster planning for business-critical systems, including working with infrastructure and business teams to produce and sustain practical solutions.
* Lead career development and succession management efforts to ensure retention, motivation, and engagement of current and future team members.
* Ensures company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all Information Technology department functions.
Qualifications
* Minimum 10 Years of hands-on multiple SAP modules configuration and functional design expertise
* Knowledge of S4/HANA is required.
* Minimum five full life cycle SAP implementations with at least two in manufacturing industry.
* Strong understanding of business process flows and SAP process design.
* Integration knowledge with Record to Report, Source to Pay, Plan to Produce and Order to Cash processes is required.
* APICS Certifications are preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields is required.

Travel
* Up to 40% to domestic and international sites.
