JOB SUMMARY:
Senior sales professional with a proven history successfully selling standard and engineered data center cooling systems to enterprise and colocation customers. Candidate will have a technical aptitude with minimum ten years HVAC experience and a demonstrated success managing key accounts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage assigned existing key customer accounts and prospect for new customers
• Fulfill the role of Munters primary point of contact for key accounts. Process RFQ's, work with applications engineering to provide Munters cooling/ventilation/humidity control solutions to meet customer needs, help resolve disputes, help set customer expectations.
• Work with applications engineers to prepare customer proposals that include equipment selections, pricing, analysis of cost to operate, and comparisons with competing solutions
• Work cooperatively with submittal, design, and project engineering
• Attend & present at trade shows and customer training sessions
• Create Power Point and spread sheet presentations customized to meet customer needs
• Host customer visits and factory witness test events
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 10 years HVAC sales experience with specific knowledge of data center cooling requirements and systems. Prior experience with evaporative cooling and air-to-air heat exchangers is desirable.
• Excellent verbal/presentation and writing skills
• Expertise with Microsoft Office and ability to run technical analysis software
• Proven customer relation management skills
• Ability to work productively on own with minimal direct supervision
• Detail oriented, dependable, professional appearance, positive attitude
• Team player with excellent social & negotiation skills
• Utmost in confidentiality required
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
• Demonstrates knowledge of Munters products, applications and services by providing accurate information and solutions to customers. Understands applications of products and service offerings in a variety of customer environments.
• Establishes a systematic course of action for self and others to ensure accomplishment of objectives and goals. Proactively determines priorities and allocates time and resources effectively. Develops call plans and customer strategies. Manages time effectively.
• Establishes a full understanding of current and new customer requirements at all levels and ensures that Munters is regarded as a preferred provider to accounts. Applies flexibility and innovation to develop and execute strategies, tactics and to close deals for accounts and other customers.
• Applies and understands cost & contract structures, channels and strategy formulation to determine the pricing of products. Understands value proposition of products and applies this to the pricing strategy and during negotiations.
• Applies both engineering and sales knowledge in relevant sales phase to support the achievement of business objectives and the ongoing success of the organization. Display a deep technical know-how

• BS Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent technical knowledge
