How you can make a bigger difference:The Knowledge and Information Coordinator, under the direction of the Director of Operations, will develop, implement, and maintain knowledge and information systems toward effective use of data and sharing of information that optimizes organizational outcomes. The Knowledge and Information Coordinator will collect and manage relevant data, process information to convert into useable knowledge, and share information and knowledge with relevant stakeholders. The Knowledge and Information Coordinator will develop, monitor, and maintain document and content management systems and department processes and workflows. The Knowledge and Information Coordinator will also be responsible for management of intranet and internet information and promote the effective use of knowledge management tools.
Some responsibilities include but not limited to:Data and Information Management
- Collect and manage relevant available data from multiple sources including learning management system, electronic health record, human resources system, evaluation software, and business intelligence tools
- Collaborate with LD team and program leadership to determine new data needed and partner with Quality Department to make data available
- Manage the review and utilization of learning attendance and evaluation data
- Support the connection of post-learning evaluation and implementation data to staff supervision, performance evaluation, and promotion or disciplinary pathways
- Manage utilization and competency data related to evidence-based practices and other specific learning content
- Promote the use of data toward connecting efficacy of learning to quality improvement projects
- Support the connection of learning data to targeted client outcomes
- Manage data ensuring that learning services align with agency regulator and/or funder regulations and standards
Knowledge Management
- Process, organize, structure, and interpret information to make accessible and useable for relevant stakeholders
- Identify, develop, distribute, and maintain up-to-date FAQ's, manuals, troubleshooting guides, infographics, communication posts, procedures, and informational guides
- Create and manage intranet and internet information
- Develop and maintain document and content management systems
- Design consolidated filing systems and ensure organized uniformity of data
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and utilization of department processes and tools that allow for the building and sharing of knowledge
- Develop, monitor, and maintain department procedures and workflows
- Monitor and improve use of information and knowledge systems
- Support the department in creating and maintaining repeatable processes for continuous quality improvement
- Provide relevant training to department and other agency staff as needed to support dissemination of information and resources
- Monitor and measure knowledge management activities by tracking metrics to inform new strategies, course-corrections, risk management, and areas for improvement
EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED:
- HS Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels of the agency
- Organized with an ability to work independently to complete projects
- Excellent listening and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly and competently analyze, consolidate and summarize information from multiple data sources.
- Excellent skills in data management, collection and analysis
- Experience in a knowledge/information management role
- Critical and analytical abilities with great attention to detail
- Problem solving skills and solution implementation
- Researching skills competence with ability to identify best practice approach
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED / LANGUAGE PREFERENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required
- Fluency in Spanish is useful
COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED : - Excellent skills with relevant software and technology including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite and business intelligence tools.
