Lab/Research Technician Senior

Perform advanced technical, research, and data management functions, with a focus on cancer cell biology, therapeutic development, and molecular/cellular functions. Independently execute and analyze experiments in cell and molecular biology, manage animal colonies, and oversee lab operations. Provide functional supervision to lab personnel, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and contribute to data analysis and reporting for scientific publications.

Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related science. Four to five years of experience in molecular and cellular biological techniques and animal research and colony management and overall lab management. Must demonstrate high-level technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and the ability to supervise and train personnel. Compliance, safety, and regulatory protocol experience.

$26.50 - $30/hr

Contingent on continued funding, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required, Background Check required for this position
