Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel - Arkansas is seeking applicants for the position of Laboratory Supervisor. The role of the Laboratory Supervisor includes, but is not limited to:
- Establishing a culture of safety awareness, team development, quality production, and continuous improvement.
- Leading the maintenance and continuous improvement of the division laboratories.
- Ensuring safe, prompt, and accurate testing of our product to ensure it meets our customers' demands.
- Assisting operators and metallurgists in identification and disposition of defective material
- Assisting in claims investigations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or equivalent engineering degree or equivalent laboratory experience
- 3 years of industrial or lab experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with supervising laboratory functions

Proven track record of problem-solving
