You have completed a BS plus a minimum of 6 years of nuclear quality assurance experience or AS plus a minimum of 8 years of nuclear quality assurance experience or HS plus a minimum of 10 years of nuclear quality assurance experience. An advanced degree (MS or MBA) may substitute for 1- 2 years of related work experience. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of complex assignments. Your OpportunityThis full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Lead Auditor in Lynchburg, VA (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the Instrumentation and Controls Business Unit. Your work will include:
- Under broad supervision, this position is responsible for performing quality surveillances and auditing supplier and project processes and activities to ensure that appropriate controls have been defined and implemented to meet customer, regulatory and quality program requirements.
- Demonstrate expertise in a variety of concepts, practices and procedures and rely on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
- Will need to be able to qualify as Lead Auditor.
- Plans, schedules and conducts independent audits and surveillance of materials and products.
- Reviews documents, prepares checklists, conducts assessment interviews and prepares Audit, Survey, and Surveillance reports.
- Ensures and documents that corrective actions are taken based on report findings.
- Maintains knowledge and understanding of NRC or other pertinent regulations and industry codes and standards.
- Coordinates with Framatome Inc. Supplier Quality Management and is the primary contact for I&C Business Unit Suppliers and ASL maintenance.
- Routinely interfaces with Suppliers, both internal and external to Framatome.
- Travels to Supplier and Framatome facilities both in the US, Canada, and internationally. A valid passport is required.

Your Total Rewards PackageThe range of base salary for the position is between $95,000 - $129,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
