Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Lead Network Engineer:
- Lead the effort to document standard operational processes for new technology and complex technology installations.
- Train and socialize new processes and technologies to peers and internal support team.
- Work closely with architects to drive improvements to our network reliability.
- Define documentation standards and create in-depth Network Documentation and Architectural network diagrams.
- Regular rotation for on-call after hours and weekend support.
Required Skills for the Lead Network Engineer:
- Around 10 years of experience in network engineering and development.
- Expert Level Network Route Switch Knowledge including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS/LDP protocols.
- Advanced Juniper/Cisco Configuration understanding.
-Experience utilizing Aruba Wireless
- SDWan vendor Specific Knowledge (Palo Alto CloudGenix).
- Expert in Azure cloud networking concepts.
