Lead Test Engineer

Must Haves:

• Must have an Active Secret Clearance.
• Must have 6 years of experience as a test analyst, systems engineer, test engineer, or similar.
• Must have 3 years of experience in design, development, production, or testing of electronic, electro-mechanical equipment.
• Must have Bachelors degree in Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical discipline. If no degree, must have 10 years of experience to make up for it.

Day to Day:

• Testing network equipment (Routers, Switches, Adapters), Software Defined Radios, Thin Clients, and software.
• Working on ODINN project.

• Provide testing expertise to develop test plans and document results for component level testing, full-scale testing of the integrated system, and regression testing.
• Provide engineering expertise to integrate physical components such as computer hardware, networking hardware, software defined radios, software, user terminals, and ancillary equipment into a single cohesive lab-based system.
• Work under the minimal technical supervision of experienced senior personnel for daily and weekly tasks.
• Develop and executes test scripts and scenarios to evaluate the functionality of systems.
• Create test data to validate functional and technical requirements.
• Review requirements to ensure that tests will satisfy specifications.
• Interact with engineering to analyze and perform tests for systems.
• Participate in project reviews.
• Collect data and analyzes pattern.
• Provide documentation and regular progress reports for test cases.
• Perform new tests when field data failures or other problems arise.
• May train, oversee, and provide tasks to junior test engineers.
• May be responsible for evaluating performance of junior staff and/or subordinates.
• May assist in the selection, training, and development of staff.
• May lead and direct limited tasks assigned to junior personnel.
