Exciting Opportunity for a Skilled Linux Engineer!
Are you a Linux enthusiast with a passion for technology and a knack for problem-solving? We're seeking a talented Linux Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in the ongoing digital transformation and cloud migration of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily administration of Red Hat Linux 7/8/9 on-premises and in the cloud
• Build server images that conform to security standards, including hardening and compliance with industry regulations
• Manage service-level agreements, documentation, and policies/procedures related to Linux servers and ancillary tools
• Respond to off-hours calls and provide on-call support (Level 3)
• Create and manage scripts to automate system tasks using Ansible
• Assist with the design, configuration, and maintenance of the Linux server environment using Packer, Terraform, and VMware virtualization technology
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure standards are included, applied, and maintained across all product sets and solutions
• Manage and maintain the VMware virtualization environment on a hyperconverged server platform
• Own and operate the company's release engineering infrastructure, including physical and virtual hardware, automation tooling, and continuous integration (CI) resources
• Audit and secure services across development, test, and production environments
• Independently coordinate with system vendors to resolve issues
• Consistently observe security best practices in the deployment of all responsibilities
• Assist with internal and external audits

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of relevant experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) server administration
• Demonstrated experience in managing, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise-level server environment, including VMware and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure)
• Solid knowledge of the Centrify AD Bridge and experience in upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting the server suite
• Proficient in Ansible and shell scripting for automating tasks and processes at an enterprise scale
• General knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, ACLs, VIPs, and VPNs
• Experience with Packer, GitLab, and Red Hat Satellite administration, upgrading, and maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
